The corporations and large enterprises are taking huge steps these days to minimize the impact on the environment and to reduce the carbon emission. Especially in the automobile sector, the key market leaders around the world are seriously considering options to build fully electrical vehicles. BMW Group is one of the major stakeholder in the automobile market all around the world. The BMW vehicles are known for their luxury, class, beauty, longevity and comfort. The BMW iVision Circular is basically their vision for 2040, they have introduced a few concepts last year. The BMW wants to achieve carbon neutrality, they are aiming to reduce the CO2 emission during the entire lifecycle of a vehicle. For that the BMW is adopting green energy technologies and changing its businesses practices to minimize the carbon footprint. The renewable energy, reduction in carbon emission and using recycled materials is the idea that lead to the new iVision Circular concepts.
Basically the BMW Group is focusing a lot on circular economy and is eager to utilize the recycled materials. The biggest advantage is that there is very less carbon emission and the secondary materials are produced by processing the waste, which also have positive impact on the environment. The Dubai Design Week is one of the region’s largest creative festival which host visitors and participants all around the world. The Dubai Design Week offers a glimpse into the future, and offer exhibitions and stands for the businesses and the visitors to allow them to express themselves and interact with each other. Such events are great for promotional campaigns. Different businesses occupy different spaces and showcase their abilities. This year’s theme is ‘Design with Impact’. Which focused on innovative ideas, eco-friendly materials, low carbon emission, sustainability and low impact on the environment. The BMW is currently focused secondary-first policy. They widely use recycled and reused materials which have far less impact on the environment.
These are the reasons the BMW is participating in the Dubai Design Week. The exhibition is known for attracting both professionals and technology enthusiasts from all around the world. Which help promoting the idea and concepts and raise awareness. The BMW Group decided to acquire an exhibition space where they can present their BMW iVIsion Circular car concept. The exhibition stand design should align with the brand image and should also be able to communicate the right message. RSI Concepts was approached to design and install an exhibition stand at Dubai Design Week. Several other interior designing companies allied, but only RSI Concepts’ idea got the approval of the higher management at BMW. Here are the remarks of our project manager, Ms. Maheen Waheed:
“It was an excellent experience. We had a great interaction with the management and team. In fact we both had a wonderful experience, and I believe that was the reason we successfully managed to deliver the exhibition stand in merely a week time.
