EDPU Technologies Acquired RSI Interactive Kiosks

EDPU Technologies is a well-reputed name in the market. They are renowned for providing advanced technological solutions for their patients across all their health care centres. The latest project was also one of the efforts made to maximize their patient’s experience and convenience at their health care centres all across the UAE. The objective was to allow the patients to log in and authenticate via their Emirates ID card and then upload all the information from an interactive kiosk. This not only expedites the customer journey but also improves the service delivery time. As in the health care facilities mostly the patient are a little bit anxious and stressful so it is very critical to provide them with the services which could reduce their wait time and ensure quicker service delivery.

RSI Concepts was given the task to provide them with interactive kiosks with a completely customized design to meet the needs and requirements of the customers. We have carefully examined the requirements and decided on a Fire Resistive MDF based model. The entire kiosk was custom build to keep the touchscreen and the Emirates ID card reader at a certain height and angle. The kiosk has been built and we got approval and appreciation from EDPU Technologies and their health centres. The kiosks are meant to be commissioned in all their branches across the seven emirates of UAE. The EID Card reader is in-built and the touchscreen is an all-in-one computer to support the software and interactive user interface.

Muntada IslamiThe Muntada Islami is an Islamic institution promoting Islam and Islamic culture. The history of Muntada Islami Islamic Forum goes back to 1929, but the latest reforms were made by the direct order of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, may God protect him. The Muntada Islami is leading the region with its great programs and events hosted by scholars and specialists on the sciences of Islamic Sharia, laws, culture and sociology. The form is responsible for encouraging youth and promoting the true image of Islam and Islamic traditions. The Muntada Islami also has the largest Islamic Library in the GCC and Middle East. The Head Quarter building consists of classrooms, lecture halls, a library, research rooms, and other facilities to facilitate graduate program and various other science and research-based programs for Islamic, cultural and social studies.

Muntada Islami is continuously expanding and in order to improve its operational capabilities and provide online courses and certifications a website and a customized management information system was required. The website is meant to be for the public and the tailor-made management information system (MIS) was designed for the internal staff. The main objective was to revamp the brand identity and improve Muntada’s online presence, providing facilities for the online courses and certifications, and also to improve the internal operational efficiency. RSI Concepts was entrusted with the task to design and develop both systems to meet the needs. We have analyzed the requirements and establish an understanding of the scope based upon the requirements, suggestions and our experience in the field. The final product was not only meeting the requirements but also providing so many additional features which were very helpful. The project teams from Muntada and the senior management was very happy and the UAT was a great success for the project.

The website is a complete communication portal for the public. The website contains corporate details, news, events announcements, online seminars and event registrations portal, online course certificate registration portal, online training modules, online paper/test modules and a lot more. The user interface is designed extremely well to manage all those information in a very simple and easy-to-access navigational structure. The website is extremely responsive and is completely compatible with different devices and platforms to ensure excellent user experience while navigation, course studies, exams/test, etc. The design is prepared well to represent the brand identity.

The MIS is accessible over the intranet and internet and is considered to be the backbone of any organization’s operations. It is completely custom-designed to meet the needs and requirements of the Muntada. The application is a powerful software with several layers of access and authentications to ensure the organization’s policies and operational mechanism. Our customized management information system (MIS) or also known as only “Intranet Application” allows the staff to manage multiple daily tasks, for example, complete finance management, tasks management of the employees, complete event/seminar management, management of the courses and relevant tasks. The UAT was conducted under strict monitoring and scrutiny, thankfully the application was accepted and well appreciated. The advanced features and tools in the SEWA Inspection Mobile Application were very helpful for the inspectors and for the management too. The whole data was digitalized, gathering and uploading information to the central information centre was done just in few taps, and the project management team and the inspectors were very satisfied with the performance and usability of the mobile application.

Zayed University Abu Dhabi campus has acquired RSI Queue Management System and Customer Feedback System. The systems are integrated with the student portal for identification. Zayed University is one of the three higher educational institutions sponsored by the Government of the United Arab Emirates. Zayed University is contributing in providing a constant stream of professionals in a variety of fields who are contributing in the progress of the nation. The university is not only acknowledged on a national level but has gained a great reputation all across the GCC. Zayed University is known for its innovative methods and technological advancements in the academia of GCC.

RSI Concepts has been approached to propose a sophisticated queue management system solution with the objective to make the service delivery easier and quicker than ever before. A customer feedback system was also part of the project. Both the systems are designed to link with the university’s internal information centre to automatically verify the identification of the students/users. A wide range on interactive services is provided through the dedicatedly designed interactive self-service kiosk machines. Both the queue management system and the customer feedback system are installed in the Student Enrollment department in Abu Dhabi campus.

The system also features an online appointment module related to the appointment for the Student Enrollment department. Students, faculty or staff can initiate a query or sign-up for the queue remotely. Once their turn comes, the system automatically generates a notification in advance to notify them about the time and the counter they will be served. The customer feedback system allows them to provide feedback about their experience in service delivery and they can also give feedback about the server/agents.

The students or any visitor can also sign-up from the self-service interactive kiosk at the department. The kiosk can verify the identification through the Emirates ID Card and will automatically update the system with the relevant data. The main objective is to automate most of the service to reduce the overall service delivery time. Another advantage is that the students won’t have to wait in long queues during their classes and can get the service delivered in the shortest possible time period. The statistical and usage data from the queue management system and the customer feedback system is collected and processed in our powerful software engine which can be viewed in comprehensive reports for download and later use.

The Sharjah Book Fair is the largest book fair in the region and is also considered among the largest book fairs in the world. The event attracts around 2.5 Million visitors, more than 200 exhibitors from around 80 countries. Moreover exhibiting 20 Million books for all sort of niche and groups, this can be considered an oasis of knowledge. The Sharjah Book Fair was established in 1982 by the hands of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi himself.

So, we were requested to propose a hand sanitizer dispensing solution which doesn’t require any contact to dispense the hand sanitizer liquid. Therefore we have proposed a variety of different contactless hand sanitizer dispensers, and amongst them, the two models were selected, The Floor Stand Automatic Contactless Hand Sanitizer Dispenser and the 21.5 Inch Automatic Contactless Hand Sanitizer Dispensing Digital Kiosk.

This kiosk comes with a powerful computing engine too to run customized applications for the multimedia content and much more. The complete operation is contactless and there are sensors which can sense the hands when placed underneath and then the dispensing mechanism automatically dispenses a decent amount of liquid hand sanitizer gel.

The Automatic Contactless Hand Sanitizer Dispenser Floor Stands are also fully automatic and contactless with highly efficient operation. The main objective was to provide a facility to sanitize hand without any physical contact. Apart from that RSI Concepts also supplied around 200L of the hand sanitizer liquid gel to be used in both the dispensers. The gel has a nice soothing fragrance with the 70% alcohol level. This means the liquid vaporizes quickly and disinfect hands immediately. The alcohol is the main component which disinfects the COVID-19 or Coronavirus, so higher the percentage, better it is.
