The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) Abu Dhabi is mainly responsible for urban development, town planning, transportation and roads. The DMT is also managing three regional municipalities in the country. Which makes it the biggest Municipality in the country and also one of the largest city municipality all over the GCC. The Department of Municipalities and Transport plays a vital role in the current overall progress and infrastructural development of the Emirates of the Abu Dhabi and in other regions by managing their respective municipalities. The Department of Municipalities and Transport also ensures the higher living standards, safety, security, sustainability, infrastructural and technological advancements of the Emirates of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafrah Regions.
Due to the current global pandemic and current scenarios, it is necessary to take safety measures before resuming again to the full operations. As the Department of Municipalities and Transport Abu Dhabi is one of the most innovative government entity, they also required some innovative solutions to cope up with the issue. Which is the reason RSI Concepts was contacted to propose a variety of hand sanitizer dispensing equipment for the staff and the visitors at the various branches and the head office of the Department of Municipalities and Transport Abu Dhabi.
The task was pretty simple and clear, which was to ensure the minimum physical contact on the premises. As some latest researches have suggested that the best way to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 is to keep the contact at the minimum with surfaces at public places. So, we were requested to propose a hand sanitizer dispensing solution which doesn’t require any contact to dispense the hand sanitizer liquid. Therefore we have proposed a variety of different contactless hand sanitizer dispensers, and amongst them, the two models were selected, The Floor Stand Automatic Contactless Hand Sanitizer Dispenser and the 21.5 Inch Automatic Contactless Hand Sanitizer Dispensing Digital Kiosk.
The Automatic Contactless Hand Sanitizer Signage Kiosk has a 21.5 Inch digital signage screen which can be utilized to play videos and contents. This kiosk comes with a powerful computing engine too to run customized applications for the multimedia content and much more. The complete operation is contactless and there are sensors which can sense the hands when placed underneath and then the dispensing mechanism automatically dispenses a decent amount of liquid hand sanitizer gel.
The Automatic Contactless Hand Sanitizer Dispenser Floor Stands are also fully automatic and contactless with highly efficient operation. The main objective was to provide a facility to sanitize hand without any physical contact. Apart from that RSI Concepts also supplied around 200L of the hand sanitizer liquid gel to be used in both the dispensers. The gel has a nice soothing fragrance with the 70% alcohol level. This means the liquid vaporizes quickly and disinfect hands immediately. The alcohol is the main component which disinfects the COVID-19 or Coronavirus, so higher the percentage, better it is.
